Why my window was open and the house was so cold.

Some time over the weekend my parents decided to turn the furnace on. I fully support this, as it is what makes the house warmer than outside the house. Unfortunately, this simple flip of the switch did not go as planned. This is what happened:

    Hahaha. That sucks!

    I've had our heater start smoking because it wasn't properly maintained. No heat for a few days that winter until apartment maintenance could fix it!
