An open letter to TMJ
Dear Temporomandibular joint,
I think it is great and all that you hold my jaw onto my skull. You allow me to move the lower half of my face separately from the top of my face. I like that you allow me to chew and swallow food.
Recently you have been mean to me. You pop out of place. You cause swelling and inflammation. Most importantly you cause pain. I do not like pain. Knock it off. I do not want to have to take a ton of ibuprofen every two hours.
Stop causing pain and we can be friends again.
No love,
Chrissy

I am clearly neurotic.
Things that make me nervous/scared/panic:

- Other people being inexplicably late
- Large social groups in a small space
- Being unemployed
- When someone expects me to act formally
- People not being where they are supposed to be
- Interviewing
- Student loans
- People being unavailable for contact
- Creepy men I do not know trying to "check me out"
- Disease
- Bugs
- Possible infestation of diseased bugs
- Fire
- Dreaming of my friends/family hanging off a cliff
- Forgetting what I was doing
- When animals run in front of my car (Doubly so at night)
- The new TSA guidelines
- Loud noises
- Dying

TOMORROW IS FULL.
My schedule is ridiculous tomorrow. I am waking up at 8:30am so I can drive my dad to his eye appointment that is half an hour away. He just had the lens in his eye replaced earlier today, so he needs to get it checked to make sure it is not broken or something. I have no idea how long this will take.
After that, I need to go to Wal-Mart and obtain a card, for it is the Boyfriend's birthday. Adam will be driving up after work. Which means I also need to shower and bake a cake before he gets here around 6:30pm. We will then dinner and eat cake.
After that will be HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS (part 1).
This is all very hard to wrap my head around since I haven't slept since I woke up on Tuesday morning... and it is now Thursday. If that doesn't explain how I feel, this will:

HP Countdown
I am a Harry Potter fan. From the moment I picked up the first book 12 years ago I loved it. While I love the books more than I could ever love the movies, I still go to One week from today the first half of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be out in theaters everywhere. It's count-down time!

The war against fleas
I have cats. Two cats to be exact. Both of them were infested with fleas until this weekend. I went on a CLEAN EVERYTHING frenzy to try to rid my home of the nasty fleas. I washed all the bedding, vacuumed and sprayed anti-flea stuff on the carpets (while the kitties were out, of course), and even washed my cats.
Yes, I washed my CATS. They were not thrilled, but it had to be done. They were walking fleabags.

I enlisted the help of two of my friends and managed to wash both my cats with no permanent injuries! My mother and I had bought some Name Brand flea and tick killing medicine and after thoroughly washed and dried, it was applied to both cats.
Unlike most flea medicines that will only kill the fleas if they bite your pet, this particular brand kills them just by having them touch my kitties' fur/skin! My cats are now walking anti-flea and anti-tick MACHINES! Muahaha.
Oh, and they are very glad they are allowed to sleep on my bed again. :)
Letter to Rain
Dear Rain,
You are very loud on our metal roof. I have yet to venture very far outside due to your formidable presence, but I assume you have also made everything very wet. This is most unwelcome.
Not only are you wet, you are also cold! You are currently mixing three different physical states of one chemical substance all at once. There are tiny beads of ice mixed in with your liquid drops of water. I understand that you are vital to all [known] forms of life, but could you be less loud on my roof?
Thanks,
Chrissy

Sallie Mae
Sallie Mae, for those who don't know, is one of the biggest lenders for student/education loans in the US. This is how I feel about them right now.

:(
This is what I was greeted with upon my arrival at Wal-Mart last night:
Christmas? Really? It's not even Thanksgiving yet!
