Bizarro vs. Cellphone

Remember a few weeks ago when I lost my phone? Here's what happened:

This is Bizarro. It used to be called Superman: Ride of Steel until 2009 when they painted it purple and added fire, lights, and fog effects. Bizarro is located at Six Flags: New England. It is an awesome ride that my cellphone and I had been on many times in the past. Unfortunately, this time something different happened.

My naughty cellphone somehow escaped the confines on my pocket (even though it was underneath the seatbelt, and Bizarro does not go upside-down)!

I noticed it was gone as soon as I exited the train. Adam and I were sent to guest relations to fill out a Lost and Found report. We waited until after the park closed and everyone left. The ride operators searched for my phone while we continuously called it from Adam's phone. No luck. They were unable to recover the phone. It rained that night, and all my hopes for getting my phone back were lost. :(

But this week, something amazing happened! A very lumpy envelope arrived at my house from SFNE. It was my phone! It is completely functional and the only damage I have noticed is a tiny scuff mark on the side of the blue case. There aren't even scratches on the screen! Yay! :-)

Weekend Away

I spent this past weekend at my boyfriend's house. On Friday we went to Six Flags New England, where I managed to lose my phone on Bizarro. I actually feel bad for my phone. Bizarro has over a mile of track and is over 200 feet tall. There is no way it will ever be found... at least not in one piece. If phones can break from 5 feet, just imagine what they would look like after a fall from over 200 feet. :(

To add to my stress of driving home for three hours without a cellphone, I arrived at home to find my bedroom window open. I did not leave it open when I left on Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately, it was not nearly as warm when I got home at 10pm on Sunday as it was when someone opened it.

Again I wish I had a sweater that wasn't completely ugly. Oh, and a phone. :(
